scholarships

If you attend one of our high schools and have a plan for what comes after high school, check out our scholarships! We provide a scholarship for people attending a program after high school (the Alchemist Opportunity Fund Scholarship), and a one-time ward for those who are heading into the workforce (the Ready AF Award).

The Alchemist Opportunity Fund Scholarship

We’d like to see every student graduate from the high schools in our community and go on to their next educational opportunity, whether it’s a technical school, certification program, 2-year degree or 4-year college degree. Lifelong learning is important for all of us.

We’re offering multi-year scholarships for good students in financial need.

If you are a senior at one of our schools and you plan on continuing your education, please consider applying. This scholarship from The Alchemist Foundation is designed for the students who aren’t sure, who are concerned about money, who might be late bloomers or quiet leaders, young people who might not have gotten a lot of attention. It’s primarily need-based, not grades-based.

The Alchemist Foundation Ready AF Award

A few years ago, we launched this one-time award for graduates who are not going on to a formal post-secondary program (training or college) after graduation.

The Ready Alchemist Foundation (Ready AF) Awards are $500 cash awards that recipients can use to help them get their start. It’s designed for students who have a plan for what they are doing after school, and can talk about their plan and why they are pursuing it.

The application is pretty simple – you just need to tell us about you, tell us about your plan, and tell us why we should choose you! We’re also asking for a recommendation from a friend, teacher or community member. The 2024 application will be open on April 25, and due on May 23.
